Is Trellis multi-tenant?
- Yes. Organizations contain spaces (client workspaces). Roles and permissions — including system admin paths — scope who can see and change data. PostgreSQL Row Level Security enforces space and membership boundaries in the database.
How do clients access work?
- Through the Client Portal module: external stakeholders get role-based access to projects, tasks, and documents without needing full internal seats. Agencies can brand the experience via subdomain or custom domain depending on plan.
Does Trellis have AI features?
- Enterprise includes specialist AI agents for apps. Agents are designed for confirmed actions — not silent automation of privileged changes. Do not expect AI on Starter or Growth unless your contract says otherwise.
Is my data secure?
- Trellis uses Supabase Auth (JWTs), cookie-backed sessions where available, and PostgreSQL Row Level Security for tenant isolation. Card data is handled by Stripe Checkout; Trellis stores payment metadata, not full card numbers. Trellis is in private beta and this is not a SOC 2 attestation — see the Security page for current controls and how to report issues.
